Lauri Stallings creates "perhaps"
Choreographer, Lauri Stallings created her third commission for the Inwood Dance Company in January. The new work “perhaps” is to music by Boris Kovak from “eidolon”. “perhaps is the most challanging of her three works at Inwood pushing the dancers with more physicality, speed and detail.” says director, Denna Smith. Both of Stallings’ previous works Port of Call and doublespeak have won national choreographic honors at the Regional Dance America’s National Festival in Pittsburgh in 2007 and the Southeastern Regional Dance Festival in High Point in 2008.
