The St Joseph School Girl Scouts visited the Inwood Performing Arts Company on Thursday, Februrary 12 to study the Paso Doble, the fast paced Latin American dance which was modeled after the Spanish bull fight. The traditional music is Espana Cani (Spanish Gypsy Dance), a lively march in which the man plays a Matador and the lady his the cape. Director, Denna Smith taught sur place, chasse and apel( call to the bull) as well as introduced spanish port de bras.
