The Inwood Performing Arts Company will begin a new Ballroom Dance Class on Tuesday, March 21st at 7:30pm.  The 8 week session will feature foxtrot, quickstep and cha cha.  Contact Winston Smith at 304-229-3209 to register.

All Classes at the Inwood Performing Arts except for Inwood Dance Company Senior Wonderstruk are cancelled for Tuesday, February 22nd.  Wonderstruk rehearsal will be 5-8pm tonight.

The Inwood Dance Company will host a Cash Bingo February 27th at the St. Leo’s McGivney Hall in Inwood, WV.  Doors open at 2:00pm with games beginning at 3:00pm.  Advanced tickets $20 and $25 at door.  Baby sitting services and tip games will be available.  For tickets call 304-229-3209.

The Inwood Performing Arts will begin a new Creative Movement class on Thursday, January 13th from 5:15-6:00pm.  The 10 week program, designed for 3 year olds, encourages young students to explore movement and musical rhythms with the help and security from a parent. Students are evaluated during this class for their readiness for the Pre-Primary program. Dress is comfortable dance or play clothing with no uniform requirements.  Tuition $130

The Inwood Performing Arts invites family and friends to attend classes next week.  Visitation week is a great time to introduce a new friend to the school.  If your friend enrolls you will receive a tuition credit of $58.  Our new 2010 Welcome DVD’s for prospective students are available at the desk, pick one up and give to a friend.  Our best advertisment is you our valued customer.

Catch the Groove as the Inwood Dance Company’s Week with the Masters begins Thursday, August 12- Monday, August 16th.  Classes in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary will be taught by guest artists Shan Dai-Central Ballet of China, Eddy Ocamp-Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago and Greg Sample-Hubbard Street. Classes are from 9:30-4:00pm daily. Tuition is $240 or $225 for current IDC members.  Levels Intermediate through Advanced.  Spaces still available.

The Inwood Performing Arts Company will host a Fall Registration August 4th and 5th from 4-8pm and August 7th from 9-1pm.

Dont miss signing up for the Summer Dance 2010.  Camp starts Monday, July 5-16.  The intensive will feature classes in ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, voice and musical theatre for ages 6 and up.  Levels 1-3 meets daily from 1-5pm and Levels 4-7 meets from 9-2pm.  Camp will feature former IPAC assistant director, Shan Dai.  We hope you will come and Catching the Groove!!!
