Dance Department Program IPAC offers classes in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Irish Step Dance and Ballroom for children and adults. The school year runs from September to Mid-June. A special concentrated 3 week Summer Workshop is offered during July or August. This program offers a concentrated study with an outstanding guest and resident facility designed to challenge the advanced dancer while broadening the range of dance experience of the younger dancer. The Ballet curriculum blends the best of the teachings of the English School, through the syllabus the Royal Academy of Dancing, and the Russian School, know as the Vaganava. Our goal is to develop dancers with strong technique, good vocabulary, sensitivity to music and a beautiful sense of artistry. Optional examinations are held annually by an official examiner of the Royal Academy of Dancing of London. These exams are an invaluable yardstick by which parents and teachers can measure the child's progress and level of achievement.
