The Inwood Performing Arts Company
will celebrate its 20th Anniversary this season.
During these 20 years of service to the community many wonderful events have
occurred.
Our faculty has grown from me, myself , and I to an outstanding international
faculty of ten.
Many world famous professionals have made their way to Inwood to conduct master classes and choreography seminars including Randy Duncan (Choreographer of "Save the Last Dance"), Luba Gulyaeva (Kirov Ballet), and Patti Obey (International Jazz Teacher from Holland) to name a few.
The studio has undergone several major renovations since 1982 including the addition of two dance studios, additional music studios, lounge and snack room to our latest addition, of Team Sports and Dance.
During these past twenty years I have
been privileged to work with many talented and dedicated students. Some I am
proud to say have went on to dance professionally in ballet and jazz companies.
But more importantly many more have used the discipline of dance to become good
students, outstanding citizens, honorable parents, loyal employees and audiences
that can appreciate the performing arts for many years to come.
To all that have passed through the Inwood Performing Arts Company doors, I must thank you for twenty years of many fond memories.

The Inwood
Performing Arts Company held its Summer Dance Camp 2002 July 15-26.
Twenty five students participated in this intensive two week dance study.
Students studied Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Tap, Jazz, Ballroom and Irish Step.
Highlights from the camp included Formal Dinner Etiquette and Ballroom Dancing
Seminar by Miss Denna,
Acting Classes by Betty Ellzey, Chinese Ribbon Dance with Miss Shan Dai and
Pool Party at Clearbrook Park.
Special congratulations to beginner pointe students Heather Childs, Hillary
Griffith, Katie Farrell, Joy Johnson, Victoria Goldizen, Loren Shirley, and
Lindsey Woodruff.
