Prince and Princess Camp
Students age 3-5 will enjoy their favorite fairy tales as they enhance their coordination and creativity. They will meet a Princess, make a keepsake craft and enjoy a last day performance for family and friends. July 1-5 Cost $110

Summer Dance 24
Beginner through advanced students age 6 and up will enjoy a variety of styles including ballet, tap, character, contemporary and more. Summer dance allows for students to strengthen their technique, conditioning and artistry. Join us and get a leg up on the fall by finding your groove this summer. July 8-August 1. Cost $225 and up

Shining Stars Camp
Students age 4-6 will enjoy the more contemporary styles of jazz, tap and hip hop that will will enhance their movement quality and creativity. Let us make you a star this summer!

Dancing with the Masters

Join master teachers Katia Garza and Israel Rodriguez (Mobile Ballet) and Eddy Ocampo (former Gus Giordano) for a week intensive that will feature both classical and contemporary dance. Daily times are 9:30 -4pm daily. This program is for intermediate to advanced dancers interested in refining classical and contemporary foundation and honing artistry.

Tuition $300. ($250 IDC members)

Why Dance at IPAC?

The Inwood Performing Arts under the direction of Winston and Denna Smith are beginning their 39th season. Over the past 39 years they have established the IPAC as one of West Virginia’s premier training program for dancers. Young children learn in a nurturing atmosphere while developing skills that lay the foundation for a strong technique. This gradual process stimulates the development of confidence and discipline as well as cultivates a love for dance. Our program encourages the study of other contemporary dance forms including Jazz, Tap, Modern, Irish step dance and Ballroom. No matter which path our student’s may follow the study of dance will enhance their discipline for school, work, and everyday life. Over these 39 years IPAC students have been afforded over $600,000 in tuition scholarships, taught by over 300 internationally acclaimed teachers, performed in over 100 Nutcrackers, learned 65 new choreography works, 35 years of exams by the Royal Academy of Dancing, attended 30 Regional Dance America Southeast Ballet Festivals, traveled to 4 National Festivals in Montreal, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Phoenix, and accepted an invitation for an International Tour in China 2001. At the Inwood Performing Arts we have opportunities for every type of dancer so we hope you will choose to dance with us!
